The Small & Simple Things

One of my favorite things to do with my camera is to zoom in on a smaller, less noticeable subject and focus the lens so that it really stands out to the viewer and gives you a new perspective.  This photo was captured about a year ago when I was just playing around with my camera as a ladybug landed on my jeans.  I thought it would make a cool photograph with the contrast of the ladybug's
smooth and shiny surface with the rough texture of the jeans.  It's one of my favorites that stands out as a reminder to me to always look for the "small and simple things" to appreciate in life.
